Central Texas Floods
This is one of the most devastating tragedies Texas has faced in many years, with heartbreaking loss of life and homes – including many young girls attending Camp Mystic in Kerr County.
We have partnered with organizations and families in need, and our commitment to recovery remains strong. Looking ahead, we will take an active role in restoring homes and community spaces and in helping families rebuild their lives by replacing vehicles and other critical losses.
Tunnel to Towers: Birmingham Veterans Village
Building on our longstanding support of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the SLW Foundation is proud to have contributed to the Houston Veterans Village and looks forward to continuing that partnership with the Birmingham Veterans Village project. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is launching this impactful initiative in Birmingham, Alabama, transforming a former hotel into 110 units of stable, dignified housing for veterans in need. The village will provide comprehensive wrap-around services, including job training, education, mental health support, addiction recovery resources, medical care access, and assistance navigating VA benefits – creating a pathway to stability, independence, and renewed purpose for those who have served our country.
